BRONXVILLE NON-PARTISAN COMMITTEE INITIATES SEARCH FOR 2015 SCHOOL BOARD TRUSTEE CANDIDATES; PUBLIC MEETING SCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY, JANUARY 27.
Bronxville’s Committee for Non-Partisan Nomination and Election of School Trustees (NPC), which is beginning its 79th year of serving the Bronxville community, announced today that it has commenced its 2015 search for candidates to serve as Bronxville School Trustees. An open meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the Yeager Room of the Bronxville Public Library in connection with the NPC’s process of seeking and nominating candidates for School Trustee.
At this meeting, the NPC will solicit input from the community on the selection of the school board candidates. The NPC particularly wishes to hear what members of the community feel are the most important issues facing the school and what qualifications and characteristics the community would like to see in their school trustees.
The NPC encourages all Bronxville residents to attend this important meeting. If you are unable to attend the meeting, you may email questions to email@example.com. Please include your name and address. Questions will be selected at random and directed to our special guest panel, Dr. David Quattrone, School Superintendent, and Mrs. Denise Tormey, President of the School Board of Trustees. They will provide their views on the job of School Trustee and the significant issues facing the school and the Board.
Any resident who is interested in running for School Trustee, or who would like to suggest candidates, should contact the NPC as soon as possible. To be considered by the NPC, individuals must submit an application to the NPC by February 28, 2015. The application form can be found on the NPC website, www.bronxvillenpc.com.
To propose candidates, to nominate yourself, or for more information about becoming a part of the NPC, please contact Chair, Jennifer Mackesy at 914 980 3926 or Vice Chair, Steve Kraemer at 917 374 4897 or you may e mail the NPC at firstname.lastname@example.org.
